Patiently Enduring...

My emotions literally rollercoaster now that school is out. It is certainly true what the Puritans said about idle hands!

I called my mother-in-law yesterday, and she gave me encouraging words--patiently endure. The Bible says that Abraham was given the promise of Isaac, but it wasn't until 25 years later that he received his son. In the meantime, he "patiently endured" the wait. I guess that's the ultimate lesson I am to learn from this experience--that God is in control, even when the situation looks bleak. I have to be patient and trust that His plan for us is greater than ours.
Lord, help me, this day, to PATIENTLY ENDURE.
I trust that you will unite us as a family soon...
