Although he wouldn't do it on the phone, Luisa said he IS talking now. He will repeat the word "mama" with a strong emphasis on the second syllable. I can't wait to hear him say it, and I hope he will soon be able to attach the word to ME!
He also hung up on me. We were about halfway through our conversation, and suddenly the phone went dead. I figured I had hit the button with my ear, so when I called back, I apologized, but Luisa said it was Brayden! He either pulled the cord out of the wall or he grabbed the button and hung it up. I'll try not to take it as an insult!
She also said he is able to sit independently and roll over. I have to admit that it makes me sad to know that he is accomplishing all of these feats without me, but I am very relieved to know he is on target with his physical and language development.
Sue is going to Guatemala the 3rd-13th, but she can only guarantee that she will be seeing the new babies. Fingers crossed she'll bring pictures and video of Brayden--It has been TOO long since we last saw his sweet face.
Happy Seventh Month Birthday!
