Isabella, our friend's daughter who was also born in Guatemala, came for a visit. Brayden was a little intimidated by her because she is so advanced--she walks AND talks!--but we think they will be fast friends!
I don't ever want to forget our adoption experiences. Jason and I have endured difficult times in our lives, but God has always used them as fertile ground for growth.
As painful as our search for a family was, I don't want to miss the lesson buried beneath the mounds of paperwork involved in creating our dossier and waiting through each grueling step of an international adoption or the uncertain expectancy of hoping for a match and walking through the process of a domsestic adoption.
I want to remember every moment of this journey called life.
