What a Difference...

So much has happened this week; it's as if Brayden's physical and cognitive abilities have just exploded, and he is learning new tricks at lightning speed. He's not a dog, I know (although he does a nice puppy impression), but teaching him something new is very similar to canine training--repetition and reward :-]

In addition to crawling, better known as "you have to watch me EVERY second because I am sure to have something dangerous/nasty/expensive in my mouth," he has learned to wave bye, high-five, give hugs (with a cute little grunt to boot), and is working on the peace symbol that his Papaw always gives him.

I feel, too, that he has made great strides in the area of bonding and attachment. He laughs more freely, and sleep is improving. Not his--ours. He isn't waking as often in the night, and he sleeps a long time. Few luxuries make me any happier than rest!

Here's a shot from our trip to Great Wolf Lodge, which I highly recommend to water lovers of all ages. My camera died a few shots in, but I think I can get the pictures others took of us, so I'll post them when I can.
