We ordered a kitchen for cousin Isaac, and it came in a trillion pieces, so we spent the better part of a day putting it together.
In pic #1, Brayden is kissing the fake glass of the kitchen stove. I don't think I've ever seen his kissy lips from this angle!
In #2, he is deciding if he is manly enough to play with kitchen items; I explained to him that many of the world's great chefs are male, and that utensils and appliances are not engendered. I think he understood...
In #3, he decided that playing in the box was just as fun as the kitchen items, themselves, thus reinforcing my belief that every child should get only boxes under the tree.
Brayden's friend Drew, who came home from Guatemala at the same time as he did, turned one! We were excited to celebrate with him, and we hope he can come January
1st to celebrate his!
Aunt Teresa's shower was Saturday, and Brayden was happy to collapse with Pappy afterward. Notice that Brayden's not the only one asleep...
So much is happening right now, with Christmas fast approaching, and to beat it all, Brayden has a cold. He has been so clingy today, wanting only to be held and to cuddle his blankie.
He has progressed quite a bit this week with pulling up and cruising. I suspect he will be taking steps by Christmas.
