He's up.
He's going.
He's wearing us out!
This little one is certainly busy these days. Walking brings with it a whole new set of challenges as a parent, and now that he can practically run, it's go, go, go! Literally, I seem to only get pictures from behind because by the time my digital is ready to snap, he's off on another adventure.
He is good, though. If we tell him not to do something, he (generally) won't, so we're not constantly on his trail keeping him out of trouble. It's that instinct that says, "He could bump his head on the end table." Or that pesky "You should be there, just in case."
I love to see his perseverence, too. The other night, he tried to get up to a standing position without the assistance of us or a piece of furniture. He tried and tried and tried. I could see the desire on his face and hear the frustration in his soft whimper. And then today when I got home from work, Mom said he had done it three times by himself, and each time, he would raise his hands triumphantly in the air above his head to congratulate himself.
My mom noticed that he has two molars now, one on each side on top. He already eats like a madman, so I wonder how much food he can tear through with two grinders!
Oh how I love this boy!
