Fourth of July Rewind

Boy, we had a busy few days! Our festivities began Thursday with a trip to our Texas Roadhouse and the indoor playland at the mall. We spent the night with cousins Isaac and Chloe, and the boys serenaded us into the night (notice the wrestling singing and dancing picture below!). The next day was supposed to be a day of fun in the sun, but unfortunately, the sun did not get th memo. It was overcast and rainy the entire day...

So we improvised.

As it turns out, the boys enjoyed Billy Bob's more than the pool. It was cheap, too, because Brayden liked the rides more if they were not moving!

We were fascinated to experience his first fireworks. He was not afraid of them at all and stayed awake long enough to watch the whole show.

Our local parade was Saturday, and while Brayden liked seeing the "big trucks," he was not happy with the noise level. It seems that every firetruck blared as loudly as it could all at once.

Happy First Fourth as a US Citizen, Brayden!
