Birthday Thoughts

Well, Brayden's second birthday was a hit. We had it in a gym where there was plenty of room to run and to have a bounce house. After an ordeal about the cake, it all turned out fine--we decided on Oreo Blizzard and Heath Bar Blizzard cakes, and Brayden had his little cake for digging in. As it turned out, he had done that the previous day during his birthday pictures (click link below for some of the most adorable pictures ever), so he didn't care about making a mess; instead, all of the kids gathered around the high chair and took turns. I really think that was a highlight of the day because there wasn't a sad kid in the place. We had nearly everyone we had invited (37 total), and we appreciated having them there to celebrate with us.
