"Buying" Into the Baby Market...

So my mom and I spent the day creating the baby registry. I guess I underestimated the "stuff" kids need. Let me re-phrase that. I guess I underestimated the great lengths to which the retail industry will go to make a dollar. And I also underestimated my own poor judgment! I found myself 'needing' things for Brayden that my mother never had, but then again, she, too, was bitten by the bug! She would see something cute and say, "Now you could really use one of these!"

I guess since our dear friends and family want to show their acceptance of our son by showering him with gifts, I might as well give them some darn good ideas for doing it!

There's the wipe warmer and the car bottle warmer. The bouncer seat and the Exersaucer. The Tummy Time mat (how did we ever learn to beach like whales without it?) and the Leap Frog stuff. And of course ALL the Baby Einstein products--hey, they worked for him, right? Oh wait, those things weren't invented in his day...

It was fun making a wish list,
but I do predict that most of those items will show up at one of the three showers...
