Hasta Luego, Guatemala

When Brayden's foster family left this evening for the final time, it was much more difficult for me than I had anticipated. They romped with him for hours and hours, and when dark came, we all knew it was time.

I want him to know that he was loved from the very beginning of his life. His birth mother could not keep him, but within hours of being born, he was placed in a VERY loving home and kept there until we could come to him.

They bought us all gifts--Guatemalan shirts for Jason and me. A t-shirt for Mom and lotion for Jason's mom, and for Brayden, darling Guatemalan shirts with a "Someone in Guatemala loves me very much" shirt.

I will continue to update them on his progress, and he will always know how much they love him.

We'll board a plane tomorrow and possibly lay our eyes on the beautiful country of our son's birth for the final time.
