Giving Thanks With a Grateful Heart

Ohio cousins--Amber, Cheyenne, Sabrina and Logan

In a tunnel with cousin Isaac...and NOT enjoying it at all!

Spending time with Great Aunt Mary

See Great Aunt Freda in the background? I wish I had taken some better pictures!

I don't mean to sound too sappy, but...

I am thankful to be in a new phase of life and to have the opportunity to share it with my son, my husband, and our families. I almost let the holiday pass without giving it due reflection: It was Thanksgiving night, and I was stuffed from too much food, tired from too much playing and ready to sleep. Then it hit me. Brayden is here; he is no longer an idea or an image but a real little boy! My Pinocchio will never be a wooden model again!

We enjoyed an early Thanksgiving with the WV bunch last weekend, and we headed to Rittman, OH for the actual holiday. It was a long trip with a little one, but we had a really nice visit at Jason's aunt's and uncle's house. I hope Brayden looks as forward to it as we do.
