On what we're figuring is the last nice day of the season, Jason wanted to mow the grass one more time. When I suggested that Brayden ride with him, he was afraid Brayden would be afraid of the loud noise or movement and not feel comfortable with it, so we eased him into the situation, keeping him some distance from the mower when Jason started it and giving him ample opportunity to get off.
He never gave any indication that he either enjoyed it or disliked it, so we left him on for ten or fifteen minutes. At that point, Jason gave him back to me and went back to mowing.
I thought Brayden would enjoy seeing the cat, so we sat on the front porch steps and I petted "Big Cat." Brayden immediately threw him arms into a "T" position and began hopping, all the while making a "Brrr" noise with his lips. It took me a minute to realize that his excitement was not aimed at the cat but at Jason on the mower...so we put him back on...and guess what? He wouldn't even look my way in fear that I would take him off! That was a first!
Half an hour or so later, I heard the mower pull onto the driveway and went out to see if Brayden was ready to get off...Here's what I found:

Around here, when people snore loudly, it is referred to as "sawing logs," but in this case, it's "mowing lawns!"
