I just love this picture--it captures Brayden's curious nature, and it looks so neat in cartoon format.
He was gently pulling the berries off Sherry's holly tree; so as not to get pricked, he delicately grasped one berry at a time between forefinger and thumb. He then took the berries to her carport and smashed them into a red, gooey mess.
He has entered a new phase of independence. I continually remind myself that much of what he does is not defiance and does not need correction. I want him to explore and learn, and as long as that does not hurt him or anyone else (or anything, for that matter), I must let it go.
How difficult that is to do!
