So we didn't win the free picture.... :-{ but thanks for clicking through ALL of those pictures for us!
Back to work this week as usual. That is always hard for me because I get used to the luxury of sleeping late and enjoying leisure time with Brayden, but as with all good things, snow days must come to an end.
Brayden's language development has exploded since he turned two. Every day, he demonstrates some new word (or a better pronunciation of one he has said for a while).
*Mickey Mouse has morhped from Vigh Vigh (?) to Meepy Mouse.
*Minnie went from some "m" sounds to Meenie (and he must have her with him at all times).
*Pappy is now Paaappy instead of Ha Ha.
*He says Pop Pop instead of Ah Aw for Papaw.
*Since our visit with Uncle Jeff the other day to celebrate his birthday, Brayden has talked a lot about wanting to see "more Jess."
*And my favorite...Sherry, who is now one of Brayden's favorite people, is Sher Ray (say with your best hick accent). When he begs, "Play, Sher Ray," the words rhyme!
I have loved all of his stages, but this one is really fun. He has a sense of humor--and at times, a REAL attitude--and he fits with us so well.
On the flip side, he is still really whiney and super sensitive to physical pain. Any suggestions for raising his tolerance level? Maybe I just need to work on my own???
