In One Month

Baylie is such a good baby! She smiles when we play with her (or when Brayden walks into the room), she eats well (too well, but more on that in a minute), and she still sleeps about 22 hours each day. At night goes for about five hours between each bottle, which makes the parent on duty quite happy.

Her hair has taken on a life of its own. It is probably 3/4 inch longer than it was when she was born, and it has quite a lift. I tried gel, but it doesn't seem to make it look better, so I guess we will just wait it out. I imagine that by her first birthday she will have a shoulder length style.

About her eating: She is taking about 3.5 ounces every three hours or so, but at some point EVERY DAY, she eats and then demands another bottle within a half hour or so. I thought at first that she was just bored and using food to comfort herself (sound familiar to anyone out there? :-] ) but she is actually starving. All this food is helping to fill her cheeks and little legs out nicely.
