Tonight, we accepted the referral of our baby boy, born New Year's Day at 9:40 pm. He was 7.8 lbs and 19.7 inches long.
You are definitely going to be Charles Brayden, after your father. You are beautiful and ours--not to hold and love right now, but to pray for your safety and your future.
We love you already little one. Be warm and loved tonight. Sleep sweetly in Jesus.

So We"ll Never Forget...
I don't ever want to forget our adoption experiences. Jason and I have endured difficult times in our lives, but God has always used them as fertile ground for growth.
As painful as our search for a family was, I don't want to miss the lesson buried beneath the mounds of paperwork involved in creating our dossier and waiting through each grueling step of an international adoption or the uncertain expectancy of hoping for a match and walking through the process of a domsestic adoption.
I want to remember every moment of this journey called life.
