One Day In the Future (is only seven days away!)

Our agency has granted me permission to travel to Guatemala to wait out PINK! I can't believe that almost an entire year of waiting comes down to one week...seven days to get EVERYTHING ready! School lesson plans for my sub...Brayden's room and playroom...paperwork...shopping...saying so long for a few weeks to Jason and our family. Wow. I am overwhelmed (in the best way possible).

Jason and I put the baby gate up tonight, and I thought, "Oh my goodness. He is really going to be at this house sleeping in his crib (hopefully!), sitting in his blue and green high chair, wearing the clothes that fill his closet." I feel so incredibly blessed.

I really can't breathe right now, but this is a much different feeling than the one I have had throughout the last few months of PGN; this one is a tingly anticipation, whereas the other was a painful grief.

Seven days. 168 hours. 10,080 minutes. And finally--a lifetime.

Sabrina,

How exciting that you will be in Guatemala next week with your precious baby boy! I am so happy for you. I will miss talking to you while you are gone. I hope you will keep in touch by computer! I pray your trip is safe and everything falls into place quickly so you are back in the U.S. very soon with our newest United States Citizen!
