So Much to Remember

I rarely spend time journaling anymore now that Brayden is home, but if I don't document some of his 1 1/2 year old happenings, they might be lost forever.

*He has two passions in life:

1. Mowing--He literally barks the word "mow" anytime he sees the mower,
or his dad, or his dad's shoes, or hears a neighbor mowing. They mow for
hours at a time, and Brayden doesn't crack a smile or move; he is literally
in a trance until the mower is turned off. At that point, he commands
again, "MOW!"

2. Juice--He is a hydration junkie! He wants a cup of juice with him at all
times. He can go through seven or eight cups of it, in addition to the
milk he has when he is napping or going to sleep for the night. We only
put in about 1/4 juice to 3/4 water, so he is not getting too much sugar.

*His verbal skills are right on target. He uses various words throughout the day in connection with his activities, and he will attempt to say nearly any word we ask of him. When he was just over a year old, he said "guitar" perfectly without prompting, and the other day, my mom said he pronounced all three syllables of "Cheerio." I regret we didn't continue with his Spanish, however.

*He has a darling smile (complete with two new molars!) and a contagious laughter...
